Applying eye makeup that looks good and doesn't make my eye look closed is hard. I normally try to keep my makeup natural, but my eyes always leave me frustrated no matter what I do.
I think I have deep set eyes, because any type of eye shadow I apply is hard to see, but beyond that I don't know. What tips and tricks would you suggest to help me?
Hi Liz
They seem hooded and slightly wide set. Use mainly the advice given for hooded eyes, and concentrate also on using eyeliner for the most flattering effect.
Try a brown eyeliner, and when you apply it, blend it out with a brush or your fingers so that it doesn't close up your eyes.
I have small eyes and when I apply liner, running a brush over it so that its not just one defining line makes them not so closed...
Even when you're using black liner, blending(note: not smudged out, just lightly blended with a brush) makes it like a smokey, but defined ring around your eyes.
It makes all the difference...
Also, define your eyebrows so that the also take some of the attention. Then your eyes aren't the only focus. It creates a fuller picture of your eyes then they don't stand out as 'closed up'.
They're very beautifully striking to begin with, so when you define your brows just a little, it will intensify the look you have already going on...
